If you’re looking for other Jewish people to date, JDate is the number one place to be. I’ve tried all the major dating sites and some of them have more features, but at the end of the day JDate has the most Jewish men and women.
I’ve only been on JDate for 2 months and I’ve already gone on 5 dates. Haven’t met the right girl yet but I was surprised how many attractive girls were on JDate.
The site itself has a very clean interface and is easy to use. I thought it included all the necessary features. It would be nice if they had a mobile app so I could check my communications on the go.
Here’s a tip – use a real, recent photo. And take your time to write a unique message, instead of sending out the same message to as many girls as possible. Go for quality, not quantity.
I met my girlfriend on JDate and we’ve been together for 2 months now.
I had been an on-and-off JDate for quite some time. I would meet someone on JDate, see him for a few weeks or months and then decide that “it” wasn’t there. I would take breaks from JDate and try to meet people socially, but the men I met at bars or through friends either were not Jewish or Jewish, but not right for me. My mother is divorced and had not dated in some time. I suggested that she try JDate to try and meet someone online. I helped her start off and create a profile. From there, even though she can barely use a computer, she was able to log in a few times a week and check her messages, as well as browse other Jewish men her age. After 5 months, she met someone and they are still together! I am so happy that my mother has someone to keep her company, and I think it speaks volumes about JDate’s ease of use that she was able to use it!
